- Wait and successfully complete the new CAPR single licensure examination with or without registration as an Examination Candidate.
- Apply for registration on the Active register, which allows for independent practice.
Note: The process to register as an Examination Candidate while waiting to take the entry- to-practice exam is outlined in Registration and Licensing Direction Registration on the Examination Candidate Roster. Successful completion of the single licensure examination allows direct eligibility for registration on the Active Register and independent practice.
The first CAPR single licensure examination is January 2026. The timelines for release of results are estimated to be 4-5 weeks.
